Description / Spanish Top Grain leather Black / 10cm
Spanish top grain vegetabile tanned Heifer leather.
Relatively soft, excellent for foldover sheaths, good for tooling and carving. Buffed surface with natural creases occuring.
Constant 20cm width, sold per decimeter. 3mm thickness. Add 1 pcs for 10x20cm, 3 for 30x20cm and so on. Max length 100cm.

More expensive but less quality version of the regular Spanish leather?
I know that the description says that this is softer and more pliable and for uses where thicker leather with desired but easier folding it surely works well. However, the fold doesn't really hold and the leather does not suit for wet molding etc.
The leather does also not have any kind of beautiful creases and patterns like the "cheaper" more robust counterpart. Also the turn side looks awfully sterile and has weird matte finish. It looks unnatural and especially the brown version looks poop brown. Aesthetically very unpleasing to look at.
I'm confused what this leather is for? It's thicker but doesn't have the robustness of thick leather. Also seems to scratch, stretch and twist much easier so I definitely don't recommend this for anything hard use like straps or belts.
I'm huge long time fan of the harder Spanish leather but this gets a huge pass for me.
