Brisa Chefs knifes and blades

It all started as a fun project, we put the Trapper handle on a chefs blade inspired partly by the Santoku model, and thus the Brisa Chef 185 blade came to be.

It got popular very fast, and the first batch of blades sold out quickly. Also the following batches got sold, and we realized quickly that we are on to something.

Maybe chefs knives do not need to be super serious, as most of us are not professional chefs? By adding the more even Asian inspired Chef 160 to the lineup, people could now make their own set. A ton of variations have been made by the community, everything from removing stock and creating a stick tang, regrinding the blade shape towards a Kiritsuke style front, as well as utilizing all materials one can think of as a handle.

We recently introduced the first Brisa Chef knife in Mustard micarta, and now we have expanded to a classic black one as well. The steel stays the same, Sandviks well known 12C27 stainless. An exceptionally good steel for kitchen knives at this price point. Also, with our long experience with hunting- and general work knives, you can trust that the Brisa Chefs are serious contenders in lieu of their quirkiness.
