Stabilized wood
The stabilizing process involves impregnation of methacrylate ester monomers into wood for both durability and enhancement and stained through in one or more colors. Once this is done, the wood is little affected by temperature, humidity, ultraviolet (UV) light, saltwater and most acids or solvents. Stabilized woods are presentation grade and provides the most exclusive handle material to find.
