Ahti-puukkos
blade is made of black and hardened carbon steel, or alternatively stainless
steel. Because of the high-quality blade materials, the knives stay sharp and
are also easy to sharpen. Dry and clean the knife after use. For example
cooking oil will protect the carbon steel blade from rust. Sharpen the knife
regularly, a totally dull blade is always more difficult to sharpen. A wooden
shaft is not dishwasher-safe. Ahti-puukko is proudly made in the traditional
knife-manufacturing town of Kauhava in Ostrobothnia, Finland.
